Being a geek doesn't have to mean only the passion for computers, technology and gadgets, it also means that a person has the passion for knowledge. Ancient civilizations, mythology and archeology have been great interest for many geeks. Mediterranean area is the the ultimate home of the most interesting ancient civilizations in the world. When someone goes for vacations to one of Mediterranean countries that means much more than just swimming in warm and clean sea and sunbathing at beautiful beaches. There is a lot more to learn and see about ancient cultures and civilisations that existed here. I was wondering which ancient civilisation is the most interesting for you and which Mediterranean country would you like to visit to explore it?

All of the above. I'm a total geek for Ancient Mediterrainian Knowledge. It's fascinating to me that these people lived so far ago but were so advanced in their cultures. Great Poll
1i want visit all those countries, but most of all Egypt, i guess. I have red many things about these countries, and it sounds very interesting for me, because I love history so much.
2I might be blessed to live in the Mediterranean country. Here in Herzegovina and Croatia we have many historical monuments from pre-Roman and Roman period. Still I voted Greece because I am so much in love with Greece and everything there is to learn and see in Greece...
3Roman but I'd also love to visit the other places. We studied Greek and Roman mythology in 8th Grade English and I found it very interesting.
4As a History and History of Art Teacher I would like to visit all of them.
5I'm always reading and studying about all this stuff, so I dream I could be in all of them.
But I live in Uruguay,South America, so it's not so easy to go to Europe every year.
Next year I'll visit Italy, and I'm organizing my complete cultural trip.
Great poll!
6All of them and more! This has to be the coolest poll I've seen so far. Love it!
